Trade Principles
We believe in supporting and respecting the artists we buy from. We get to know each artist and supplier personally before purchasing products and once we have established a good rapport and relationship, we do business at local and "fair" market prices. Our relationships with these artists and suppliers are strengthened by our annual visits. We believe this mutual loyalty and respect fosters good karma and results in these wonderful products being created with greater pride, respect and care.
Our Suppliers
Over the years we have established a wonderful and diverse network of suppliers with whom we re-connect each year to see their latest creations. We always try to purchase direct from the artists to ensure that we are supporting them and keeping prices fair.
Many of our suppliers operate from local markets in: Accra (Ghana), Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso), Bolgatanga (Ghana), Niamey (Niger), Kano (Nigeria), Bamako (Mali).
Privacy Policy
Bashiri complies fully with the Australian National Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000. We are 100% committed to protecting your privacy. No credit card details are kept on our systems and we will only keep your personal details on your instruction. We do not share your details with any third parties.
Wholesale Inquiries
Contact us for a wholesale catalogue and price list (for sole traders or retail business). Our extensive catalogue can be posted or emailed to you for perusal.
Returns & Refunds
Bashiri will provide a 100% refund (or exchange/store credit) on return of goods – in original condition – within one week of purchase. Include your original receipt with the return, and we will refund the purchase cost.
